With over 20 years of experience working for IT solution providers, Alex Camino has led Marketing and Communications for Softtek since May 2006. In this role, he is responsible for managing corporate communications across the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Asia. His team articulates value proposition and positioning strategies for the global ITO market.
Karen Liedl currently serves as Softtek’s global marketing communications manager where she is responsible for overseeing several strategic initiatives, including website content, online activities, and global internal PR alignment. Her passion for Latin American culture stems from living and working in Monterrey, Mexico, and an educational background in the Spanish language. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations and Spanish and is currently working towards a Master of Business Communication from her home base in Minneapolis, MN.
Federico Ferreres has been Softtek's Competitive Intelligence Manager since 2007. His responsibilities include managing analyst relations, researching trends and market shifts in IT services industry, as well as providing consultancy services to drive Softtek's next generation offerings.
Prior to joining Softtek, Federico served as a senior analyst at Select, a leading Mexican-born analyst boutique firm specialized in technology-related markets. Previous to that, he was a business consultant in Argentina's OJF & Asociados, a macroeconomic advisory firm since 1992.
Fernando Labastida has been in various high tech sales and marketing roles for more than 20 years. He is currently a content marketing consultant, fulfilling his mission to empower technology consulting companies and ISVs to expand their markets through the use of branded content.
Fernando has spoken on technology marketing at the South by Southwest Latinos in Tech program in Austin, TX, the Congreso Internacional Emprendor in El Salvador, Product Camp Austin, and he was a moderator on a panel about Startups in Mexico at South by Southwest Interactive, among others.
He has also been a guest columnist for Nearshore Americas, Latin Business Today, and currently writes at Emprende.us.
He has worked for various technology consulting companies and ISVs, including iOLAP, KPI Online, Pervasive Software, Vignette Corporation and Stagebuilder.
Fernando lives in Austin, TX with his wife and four children.
As Softtek’s Chief Operations Officer of Asia, Rodrigo is responsible for delivering services for local, regional and global customers in Asia, Europe and the Americas from Softtek’s GDC in Beijing and regional office in Shanghai, China. In 2007, Rodrigo moved to China to start one of the most ambitious expansion projects in Softtek history and in 2009 was responsible for the creation, construction and setup of the GDC in Wuxi.
Since joining Softtek in 1999, Rodrigo has served in different roles aiming to improve project delivery based on industry best practices and productivity models. He holds a BS in Computer Science and an MBA from the Tecnologico de Monterrey, and is certified as a Professional Business Analyst by B2T. He currently lives in Beijing with his wife and daughter.
