The process of creating lean IT and the future CIO office

As the demand for a more business-oriented CIO office is on the rise, IT transformation is becoming a hot debate. As an extension of a promise for value-based delivery, these transformational efforts are leading to IT organizations built around centers of excellence, borrowing concepts from the business. It also encompasses delivery structures that are lean and agile, fully embracing continuous improvement as a core foundation of IT.

To discuss this eminent shift we are excited to hold a webinar with Principal Analyst with Forrester Research, Inc., Alexander Peters, Ph.D., this week (Tues., November 16th at 11am EST).  Alexander will discuss and provide examples of how the CIO office of the future will be organized, touching on the following points:

  • Increasing IT business orientation through transformational effort
  • Leveraging a services portfolio to develop better concepts of the business
  • Eliminating waste through a lifecycle approach to IT
  • Building a culture focused on continuous improvement
