Fernando Labastida is the current Director of Offering Marketing for Softtek. He has been in various high-tech sales and marketing roles for more than 20 years. In 2009 he started blogging in Spanish from his original website, latinitmarketing.com, providing advice to software companies, outsourcers and consulting firms from Mexico all the way to Tierra del Fuego, on the best ways to enter the U.S. market.
In December of 2017 Fernando publishes his first book on Amazon, Nearshore Marketing, in both a Kindle version as well as a paperback edition. The book provides a complete guide to Nearshore outsourcing companies wanting to enter the U.S. market, and is a culmination of all of Fernando’s sales and marketing experience over the previous twenty years.
Fernando has spoken various conferences on international marketing, such as at South by Southwest in Austin and the Content Marketing Summit in Mexico City. He has also been a guest columnist for the Content Marketing Institute, the Relevance Blog, Nearshore Americas, and Latin Business Today.
